These are fonts with simple outlines suitable for use in schools and education generally. In particular they all have the rounded 'a' requested by schools for preparing material for early-years pupils. (For early-years use, Primary Cheynes is especially useful as it has a "written" look.) Some fonts, such as the Juvenile Script range, show the development of handwriting with increasing experience and skill.

These fonts are also available in PostScript format.

Most of these fonts have several variants such as regular, bold, and italic.
