Problems Downloading Fonts

Please note that these fonts are suitable only for Windows machines, not the Macintosh.

I can't download the font

This can happen if you are behind a firewall or your ISP restricts the type of file you can download. Both these situations are beyond our control.

You have the option of recieving the font by email. To do this:

  1. Log onto XaraClub. (Open the XaraClub home page in a new window.)
  2. Click the Downloads option at the top of the page. This shows you a list of the fonts you have purchased.
  3. Click e-mail next to the font name. The font is then emailed to you: delivery time depends on your mail server.
  4. Install the font in the regular way.

I've tried installing the font but Windows says it isn't a font

This can happen if you use Internet Explorer 4; this strips the file extension from the end of the file and Windows cannot recognize it. The answer is to rename the font to add .ttf to the end of a TrueType font or .zip to a PostScript file download. More information on installing fonts.

I deleted the font - how do I download again?

  1. Log onto XaraClub. (Open the XaraClub home page in a new window.)
  2. Click the Downloads option at the top of the page. This shows you a list of the fonts you have purchased.
  3. Click Download next to the font name to download it again. There is no charge, no matter how many times you download the font. (Remember though that the license only allows you to install the font on a single computer. If you want to use the font on a second computer, you need to purchase a second copy.) Alternatively, you can have the font emailed to you; for this click e-mail next to the font name.
  4. Install the font in the regular way.
Do not use the purchase pages to re-download the font. If you do, you will be charged again as you are then purchasing a second copy.
