Barcode 3 of 9Price: The complete set of eight fonts costs $64 US (plus VAT in Europe). These fonts are suitable for Code39 (also called "3 from 9") bar codes. This format specifies the letters A-Z, numbers 0-9, and selected symbols. Each character is made up of three wide and six narrow bars, five black and four white. There are several different specifications for the ratio of wide and narrow bars. These fonts use a ratio of 3:1 which satisfies the requirements of AIM Uniform Symbol Specification, AIAG, HIBC, and Logmars specifications. The difference between the 20, 30, 40, and 50 variants is the intercharacter space/narrow bar ratio. The "Bleed" variants have narrower black bars; this allows for the ink to spread into the paper when printed, which makes the black bars wider. On absorbant paper the regular variant may give over-wide bars which the scanner cannot read - if this happens, use the Bleed variant. Included with the fonts is a manual containing more information. This manual is in Word 6 format. The character setThis shows the complete set of characters in the standard Code 39 barcode format.
